Smothermon Soccer L.L.C. has been providing summer soccer camps for beginners, advanced players, and teams in the Greater New Orleans Area for 10 years!

In 1997, Louie Smothermon moved to New Orleans to play for the New Orleans Riverboat Gamblers professional soccer
team.  During the season, he worked summer soccer camps for team in addition to playing.  In 1998, Smothermon became a player/assistant coach.  As assistant coach, Smothermon was responsible for team administration and the director of the summer soccer camps.  In 1999, the team changed it's name to the New Orleans Storm and participated in the professional "A" League.  Smothermon continued as a player/assistant coach and director of the summer soccer camps.  In 2000, the team folded.

Smothermon continued to conduct summer soccer camps in and out of the city as Smothermon Soccer Camps L.L.C.  He is proud to have developed great relationships around the area and intends to offer the best staff and training to as many youth soccer players as possible.  Smothermon has worked with players and conducted camps and clinics in Baton Rouge, Covington, Houma, New Orleans, Slidell, and St. Charles for the past 10 years and hopes to continue developing youth soccer players for years to come.
